Nemo Arts

Nemo Arts is a charitable organisation that provides free creative classes for adults, with a focus on supporting individuals in recovery from poor mental health. Our weekly workshops offer a safe and enjoyable environment for attendees to learn a diverse range of creative skills. These workshops are designed to promote mental wellbeing and provide an opportunity for individuals to engage in artistic expression as a form of therapy and personal development.

Through our creative workshops, we aim to support adults in their journey towards improved mental health and overall wellbeing. By offering a diverse selection of classes and fostering a safe and fun atmosphere, we strive to empower individuals to explore their creativity and find solace in artistic expression. Castlemilk Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, as a resource for the local community. It was originally built in 1969.The centre boasts a large main hall, which has a stage with lighting and sound systems. It is ideal for performances, shows or exhibitions.

Thank you for booking the textiles short course. Your first session will be on Monday 9th January 2:30pm - 4:30pm. All materials will be supplied however if you have projects you are working on you are very welcome to bring your own work along.

This new session is a short trial and has come about through feedback from our current participants. This class is volunteer lead and is intended to be a skill share space, this will include but not limited to Crochet, Knitting, Sewing (machine) and Embroidery. Suitable for beginners.
