Nemo Arts is a charitable organisation that provides free creative classes for adults, with a focus on supporting individuals in recovery from poor mental health. Our weekly workshops offer a safe and enjoyable environment for attendees to learn a diverse range of creative skills. These workshops are designed to promote mental wellbeing and provide an opportunity for individuals to engage in artistic expression as a form of therapy and personal development.

Through our creative workshops, we aim to support adults in their journey towards improved mental health and overall wellbeing. By offering a diverse selection of classes and fostering a safe and fun atmosphere, we strive to empower individuals to explore their creativity and find solace in artistic expression. Our impact is evident in the positive changes experienced by our participants, as they gain confidence, develop new skills, and find a supportive community that aids in their recovery journey. Explore your creativity in a welcoming and supportive environment! This workshop is designed for individuals who want to boost well-being, meet new people, and enjoy the process of creating art. Over 14 weekly sessions, you'll focus on learning how to paint on canvas, developing your skills and experimenting with color, brushwork, and techniques. No experience is needed - just an open mind and a willingness to create! The course concludes with a Celebration Showcase where participants can share their finished canvases with others.

Castlemilk Community Centre is managed by Glasgow Life on behalf of Glasgow City Council, as a resource for the local community. It was originally built in 1969.The centre boasts a large main hall, which has a stage with lighting and sound systems. It is ideal for performances, shows or exhibitions.

Join us on Friday 18 December 2026 for the Nemo Arts Winter Showcase &amp; AGM, an afternoon celebrating the creativity, talent and achievements of our participants.The showcase will feature live performances from our Choir, Taiko Drumming, Drama and Guitar groups, alongside readings from members of our Creative Writing group. There will also be an exhibition of work created by our Visual Art groups and a display showcasing work from our Textiles groups.We’ll also be incorporating the Nemo Arts Annual General Meeting into the event. Between performances, our trustees will share short reports reflecting on the organisation’s work, achievements and development over the past year.
