Kalma Life provides yoga, mindfulness and wellbeing sessions for children, adults and families across South Tyneside. 

Kalma Minds is our children's yoga and mindfulness programme, which is fun and engaging. Aside from the physical benefits yoga brings to children it teaches techniques for coping with the unique issues they’re faced with everyday—insecurity about their changing bodies, the enormous pressure to fit in, stressful schedules, and uncertainty about their beliefs and their futures.  A regular yoga practice during these years can help to balance the body’s chemistry and physiology and it will benefit the mind, body and soul.

Body; promoting development of the vestibular system, encouraging midline crossing, strong flexible body, develops core and essential for correct physical alignment and good posture

Mind; calms us and bring us to the present moment, relieves tension and stress, increases concentration and focus and attention span, promotes creative thinking and memory

· Spirit; builds confidence and self-esteem, supports character development and emotional intelligence, enhance team spirit and social interaction, develops discipline and self-control

Kalma Minds welcomes you to our Summer wellbeing camp for ages 8-12 years (and teens 13-18 on our evening programme 630-830 please book this separately for teens )At Seaview Primary school and Horsely Hill family hubA fun filled day with yoga mindfulness, games and crafts!We will be providing a lovely Lunch and Snacks included in our day.With Physical activity to keep everyone moving, with pockets of mindfulness, breathing breaks, tools to take away to feel good, and of course a relaxation session to end the day!Places are limited grab your space now!

HAF Kalma Minds Summer Camp for ages 8-12 years

Sea View Primary 

Join us in our dedicated Teen wellbeing sessions, a space to relax, meet others, find ways to manage tough emotions, and enjoy something new! Our session is 630-830pm we will begin with some relaxation techniques to help you feel comfortable, have a go at some fun yoga poses, with a break for snacks and a medation and long relaxation session to end! Mats, props and cosy blankets will be provided, if you wish to bring anything you need please do so. Water is available please bring a bottle with you.
