Sankofa Storytelling Arts is a children's think tank and solution based drama arts company. We use applied theatre, drama, film and expressive arts, to foster creativity, wellbeing and champion the voices of children and young people.

Brilliant! Thank you for booking your child's place onto our Possibilities - The Crafts and Micro Film Festival summer school. Whether your child is shy or an extrovert, we'll ensure they are welcomed, make new friends and have a fun week learning and creating. We will also have a cultural outing during one of days. We'll let you know which day that is on the first day you arrive. Remember, this is week 1 and there are two more weeks to book. Those weeks will be held within the Ampthill TRA Hall, Ampthill Estate, (between Hampstead Road, Eversholt Street and Camden High Street). Possibilities - The Micro Film Festival Week 1: Possibilities: Past, Present and Future When: 20th - 24th July. The whole week must be booked! Where: Old Diorama Arts Centre, Drummond Street, NW1 3FE. Days and Times: Monday to Friday, between 10:15am - 3:30pm. Create. Craft. Devise. Film. Celebrate. From crafting to drama games to Google Pixel filming. Children will make their own craft pieces, work together to create an original one-minute film, enjoy a cultural outing and see their work at the end of each week as part of our summer arts holiday school. A fun, inclusive HAF programme where every child has a role to play and every idea matters. Suitable for all artistic abilities, SEND welcoming. Wheelchair friendly. Meals: We provide hot meals and snacks. However, if you wish to bring additional snacks, we do insist in not allowing any items with nut ingredients to be brought in. This is to ensure those with nut allergies are catered for. Support:We want to make sure your child has the best experience we can offer. If your child requires additional support or one-to-one support, even if they do not have an official diagnostic assessment or have a ECHP, please contact us in confidence. Possibilities - The Micro Crafts & Film Festival (Week 1)

Sankofa Arts Lab: Summer School is a one week Caribbean themed expressive arts experience for children in school years 4 - 6 / or ages 8, 9, 10 &amp; 11. This week long summer school will have a professional guest artist (as always) and using drama alongside crafts, we'll create an immersive exhibition for friends, parents and carers to visit at the end of the week! This summer school is particularly suited to those with SpLD, MLD, ADHD Inattentive, ADD &amp; Autism.

The Ampthill TRA hall is a white, flat roofed building, behind the basketball court. We will have an outdoor marquee beside it! Ampthill Estate is in between Hampstead Road, Eversholt Street and Harrington Square. The space is wheelchair accessible, unfortunately, as there are no disabled WC/ toilets, on this occasion, we can no offer spaces to wheelchair users.
