Thurrock CVS (Community And Voluntary Services)

Thurrock Community and Voluntary Service TCVS is the Local Infrastructure Organisation (LIO) for the local voluntary and community sector organisations. TCVS provides resources, advice, support and information, training and networking opportunities to VCS in Thurrock. All this aim to build the capacity of the VCS and enabling them to function according to their mission statement.

The Beehive is the perfect venue for your training, meetings and conferences at competitive prices. Our building is in a great central location, being less than a 3 minute walk from Grays Station C2C Service &amp; the Bus Terminal. We also offer free limited parking for all room hirers.Refreshments are available in all rooms upon request for a small charge and all rooms at the Beehive offer free Wi-Fi for you and your attendees.

Let's Talk - Understanding Permissive Environments: Good Practice for Managing Community Venues

Across our communities, many voluntary and community organisations are working tirelessly to address food insecurity — through food banks, community pantries, surplus food redistribution, community cafés, and hot meal provision. This Thurrock Food Network Workshop will bring together local charities, community groups, social enterprises, and support services to:<ul><li>Connect with others tackling food poverty.</li><li>Collaborate on how to share surplus food, skills and resources.</li><li>Coordinate local efforts to maximise impact and reduce duplication.</li><li>Co-create a stronger, more resilient community food network.</li></ul>By working together, we can ensure good food reaches those who need it most — reducing waste, sharing resources, and supporting wellbeing.
