Hackney CVS is a local infrastructure organisation (LIO), and we support voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations located in, or serving communities living, working, or studying within the London Borough of Hackney and the City of London (City & Hackney).

We have three core functions:

Giving a voice to the City and Hackney VCS and seldom-heard communities, empowering them to inform, shape, and influence decisions affecting residents.
Providing a bridge to connect VCS organisations and residents with each other, and with statutory partners.
Ensuring the VCS thrives, by building the capacity of the VCS through training, 1:1 support, and by leveraging resources, financial and otherwise, for the sector.

The Hackney Downs Neighbourhood Forum gives those who live, work or have a keen interest in the local area a say on how to improve their health and wellbeing, and help remove barriers in regards to Long term health conditions and Primary Care and Community Health Services. This Forum will be a fun day for residents and local community members to join in a physical activity workshop with a leading facilitator from STUCK CIC, have a canal boat ride and connect with local VCS stalls for information on healthy eating, health and wellbeing. Complimentary food and drinks shall be served on the day! You will need to book your chosen activities here: Link to be available soon! Parents must remain on site with their children! (The workshops are NOT drop off sessions).
