With our strong track record managing programmes such as the UKSPF Community Grants, and our deep knowledge of local communities, we are ready to co-develop a powerful, collaborative bid that delivers real change.&nbsp;This is a fantastic opportunity to shape investment into our communities. Freedom charity are offering volunteers ages 18-25&nbsp;the opportunity to volunteer on their community allotment. All the produce grown in this allotment is for the Freedom low cost Stepping Stone Food Pantry, which is accessible for those in need within our community. You will learn all about soil management and improvement, pest prevention and control, composting techniques, plant division, irrigation, propagation and much more. Not only learning green skills, but also improving physical and mental health. Do you love fashion, the environment and are aged 18-25? Then this opportunity is right for you! Freedom charity have a secondhand clothes shop open Monday to Friday 9am – 12pm. Volunteering here is flexible and you can choose what day suits you best. Buying clothing secondhand has a big social and environmental impact. Not only is it more affordable in times of need, it also helps to reduce carbon emissions, waste and use of natural resources. Reusing secondhand clothes also helps to prevent them from ending up in landfills. Groundwork are offering volunteers aged 16-25 the opportunity to learn green skills, help local wildlife and improve physical and mental wellbeing. Volunteering will involve maintenance work along the Archaeological Way. It will occur every other Wednesday between 09.30am and 13.30pm with each session covering a different part of the Archaeological Way which will be confirmed with you. Archaeological Way Derbyshire

Lead Something Wild in Bolsover! Are you aged 16–25 and passionate about nature, wildlife, and making a difference? We’re launching a brand new youth-led conservation group at Castle Leisure Park in Bolsover, and we’re looking for young people to run it. You’ll take the lead—planning projects, organising events, and managing the site—with expert support from Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, who will work alongside you to help create a land management plan and build your conservation skills. - Hands-on conservation experience at Castle Leisure Park- Learn from wildlife professionals- Meet like-minded people who care about the planet- All expenses covered and equipment provided- Level 2 Practical Skills for Conservation training No experience needed—just energy, ideas, and a love for nature!
