Hello & Welcome!

Hanley Crouch Community Association’s Children’s Services (Brickworks) have been successfully working simultaneously with the Play Principles and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We can proudly say that combining both principles and curriculum enables us to use play so that the children can have the best possible start, build on their social skills, appreciate how in risks and challenges they can make valuable connections with the environment, and have fun!

Extended Hours:

Places for HAF children are only available between Monday-Thursday between 10am – 2pm, if you would like to stay for the full day (5:30pm) it will be an extra £8.

Lunch:

A lunch menu will be available every Monday at reception on arrival.
A vegan & halal option will be available.

Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND):

We do a mandatory 3 short taster session for S.E.N children or 1 taster session for children between Reception age 4- 6 years if they haven’t been to Brickworks before. We do these on Friday’s (term time only not during HPS) between 4:30pm–5:30pm; this is for the child/children to get to know the staff, to see their environment and to answer any questions you may have.

You will also have to fill out a Brickworks registration form before we can accept your child/children & an extra form is required for S.E.N children.
We cannot accept children that have not registered, have not done a taster session or turn up on the day if you haven’t booked for that day.
