West End Trip: Stranger Things – The First Shadow We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for children aged 12 and above to experience the magic of theatre with a trip to see Stranger Things: The First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre in the West End! This captivating production, inspired by the popular Netflix series, promises to be a thrilling and unforgettable experience. --- Event Details Dates: Tuesday, 26th December 2024 Saturday, 4th January 2025 Time: 7:00pm performances on both dates Location: Phoenix Theatre, Charing Cross Road, London, WC2H 0JP Eligibility: Open to children aged 12 and above who qualify for the Islington Lunch Bunch program. --- Important Notes Limited Availability: Children's Tickets: 20 available Parent Tickets: 5-8 available (first-come, first-serve). Parents who are interested in accompanying their child must email islingtonholidaycamps@gmail.com to request a ticket. Parent tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interest Deadline: The deadline to express interest is 19th December 2024. Trip Status: The trip will only go ahead if there is enough interest and is subject to the availability of seats on both dates. If the trip does not proceed, vouchers will be fully reimbursed. --- How to Express Your Interest Parents and guardians must register their child’s interest via the Plinth booking system. Once the final numbers and seat availability are confirmed after the 19th of December, you will receive a confirmation email with further details about the trip. --- This is a fantastic chance for your child to enjoy a world-class production in the heart of London, making memories to treasure forever. The Grinch Theatre Camp - A Magical Four-Day Experience! We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for your child to join The Grinch Theatre Camp at the Vibast from the 2nd to the 5th of January! This immersive four-day program is designed to ignite creativity, build friendships, and inspire a love for the performing arts, all while exploring the timeless question: Will Mr. Grinch learn to love Christmas? About the Camp: At The Grinch Theatre Camp, young participants aged 4-5 (10am - 2pm) and 6+ (9am - 4pm) will dive into a festive musical theatre journey led by industry professionals. The program will include an exciting blend of performance training, interactive sessions, and hands-on activities culminating in a final show! We’re thrilled to share that the camp will feature a Q&amp;A session with seasoned West End and TV actors, offering your child a rare chance to learn directly from those at the top of the industry. Important Details: Lunch Provided: We’ve got meals covered, so your child will be energized throughout the day. Four-Day Commitment: To ensure each child benefits fully, bookings are required for all four days. This allows participants to immerse themselves in the experience and complete the entire journey with their peers. Scholarships Available: This program is offered at no cost for eligible Islington residents through Islington Lunch Bunch vouchers.
