At Yorkshire Bike Shack, we are dedicated to improving health, well-being, and the environment by providing the community with access to bicycle repair and technical knowledge, affordable bicycles and parts, and a safe and welcoming space for learning and repairing. Our events and activities, such as the Summer Camp at Woodfield Park, Guided bike rides and our school activity programme, aim to engage people of all ages and abilities in cycling and outdoor activities, promoting physical activity and social interaction. 

Thank you for booking for our Children's Activity Camp. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before start time for registration.Children should be dressed in old clothes and have trainers/pumps available. For activities on bikes, your child can bring their own bike or use one of ours. Wearing helmets will be mandatory. A choice of lunch is provided but children are welcome to bring their own.

Woodland skills, sand art &amp; creative art, make DJ music, craft designs, play football or rugby and fun food prep. All this with help from staff who have a love of fun.FREE for children receiving benefits related free school meals and £15.00 for all others. Includes lunch, fruit snacks&nbsp;and refreshments.

Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing for cycling. Baggy clothing and open-toed footwear are not permitted. Long hair must be tied back. Helmets must be worn at all times; these can be provided if required – please indicate this when booking.Children generally learn most effectively on their own bikes; however, bicycles can be provided by Yorkshire Bike Shack if needed. Please indicate this on the booking form.Please arrive&nbsp;15 minutes before&nbsp;the session start time to allow for bike and helmet safety checks and to ensure a prompt start for all participants.If you chose to pay on the day, we will have the facility for card payments as well as cash.

This intensive two-hour cycling course is designed to quickly progress children from stabilisers and balance bikes to confidently pedalling independently on two wheels.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our Stabilisers to Superstars session soon and helping your young rider build confidence and independence on their bike 🚲 If your young person is bringing their own bike, we’d love to offer a free bike safety check at our workshop in Woodfield Park ahead of the session. Making sure everything is adjusted and working properly can really boost confidence on the day — and it helps us make the most of the session time.
