Swansea Community Farm

Swansea Community Farm is a volunteer-led green space where people come to learn to care for animals, wildlife and each other. Our wildlife-friendly farm has been developed by volulnteer groups for the last 25 years. It offers opportunities for learning about animal care, wildlife-friendly gardening and veg growing, woodworking, conservation, cooking and groundswork. Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and offer a supportive, welcoming space where people grow in skills and confidence.

Come and learn apple tree pruning at the Community Farm! This is a fantastic skill to learn, and we'll spend the day outside at the Farm, immersed in nature and learning and sharing new skills.

Volunteering day for 16+, with opportunities to work in the animal house, gardens and Farm grounds, including woodworking and conservation work.

Adult (16+) volunteering day at Swansea Community Farm, with opportunities to work with the animals, in the gardens and grounds (including woodworking and conservation) and in the Farm cafe.

We'll be walking a mile through Swansea Community Farm and across Cadle Heath, surveying bumblebees and other insects on our monthly walks. All information collected will be sent to Bumblebee Conservation to help them track bumblebee activity across the UK.
