Swansea Community Farm

Swansea Community Farm is a volunteer-led green space where people come to learn to care for animals, wildlife and each other. Our wildlife-friendly farm has been developed by volulnteer groups for the last 25 years. It offers opportunities for learning about animal care, wildlife-friendly gardening and veg growing, woodworking, conservation, cooking and groundswork. Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and offer a supportive, welcoming space where people grow in skills and confidence.

Swansea Community Farm is seeking an experienced and motivated Green Sparks Officer to manage and develop delivery of our National Lottery-funded Green Sparks adult and young person volunteer programme. An ideal candidate will have a passion for improving people’s wellbeing through outdoor work. This post is a fixed term post until September 2028, which we would hope to extend subject to performance and the candidate being involved in securing further funding.
