At Camden, we are dedicated to promoting cycling as a safe and enjoyable mode of transportation for everyone in our community. We offer a range of free cycle training programs tailored for individuals of all ages and abilities, from beginners learning to ride to advanced cyclists looking to navigate busy urban roads. Our training sessions, which adhere to the government Bikeability syllabus, are conducted by qualified instructors and are designed to build confidence and essential cycling skills. We also provide training bikes for those who may not have their own, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate.

Our services extend to children through school programs, where we teach vital bike control skills and safe cycling practices. By engaging with local schools, we aim to instill a love for cycling in the younger generation, promoting a healthier lifestyle and reducing reliance on motor vehicles. Keen to boost your cycling skills before being on the road with other traffic? We teach important bike control skills to prepare you for cycling safely on the road. These sessions are for riders who can balance and cycle unassisted and is a Level 2 course. There are cycles available to borrow. Please bring your own helmet if you would like to wear one. Wear suitable clothes - this is an outdoor event. Gloves are recommended in winter.

Learn how to ride an e-bike with Lime and Camden Cycle TrainingLime and Camden Cycle Training have partnered to offer a free e-bike training session designed for mature or returning riders who know how to cycle but want to build confidence on an e-bike.&nbsp; This training takes place on Lime’s latest e-bike model, which features a lower step-through frame, a lower center of gravity, and smaller wheels to ensure maximum stability and accessibility. Every participant will receive a free rider code to use during the session, a free Lime helmet and also a free rider code after the session so you can keep on practicing. How to get started with the Lime appBefore the session, you’ll just need to download the Lime app and enter your provided free rider code.<ul><li>Download: Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) on your phone, search for "Lime," and tap Get or Install.</li><li>Sign up: Open the app, enter your phone number or email address, and type in the confirmation code sent to you.</li><li>Add your code: Go to the menu in the app, select Wallet or Promos, and enter your free rider code before your session begins.</li></ul>

These sessions take place on local roads around Haverstock School, NW3. Participants will ride as a group, using cycle infrastructure and roads to practice cycling in an urban environment. You must be able to cycle in a confident and controlled manner and ideally have completed a Level 2 - Building Cycle Confidence session.
