Kilburn State Of Mind

We at Kilburn State Of Mind are dedicated to addressing inequality and isolation within the community by providing tutoring, support, and organizing community events. Our focus is on teaching IT, computing, and music to individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn. We offer learning facilities, expertise, and space to small community groups and organizations, enabling them to realize their objectives and create more opportunities for the community. By providing access to IT equipment, training, mentoring, and online courses, we aim to challenge the problems of inequality and isolation, ultimately improving the quality of life for people and households in Brent. Additionally, we plan and manage community events locally and across London to bring people together, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

We work with a diverse range of individuals, including children, young people, the elderly, people with disabilities, and households in Brent. Our services are provided free of charge, and our commitment to making a difference in people's lives is evident in the impact we have on challenging inequality and isolation within the community. Through our activities and events, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive environment, ultimately improving the well-being and opportunities for those we serve.

You’ll need to book each Tuesday you wish to attend. You can view your upcoming bookings at any time via your account. If you are unable to attend a session, please let us know the day before, or as soon as possible. If your child does not attend two consecutive sessions without contacting us, the place may be offered to another family. Join us every Tuesday for our free after school club for KS2 children. We offer a variety of activities each week – from games and drama to crafts, food, and outdoor projects. It’s a space for children to have fun, learn new skills, and create together. The club is free, but places are limited, so please make sure to let us know if your child can’t attend. This helps us keep the group running smoothly and offer spaces to families on the waiting list. We look forward to seeing you there!
