Walton Youth & Community Project (WYCP) is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of children, young people, and families in the Walton area of North Liverpool. Our tailored programs and projects are designed to address the specific needs of the community, evolving in response to those needs. We offer a range of activities and services, including youth nights, one-to-one support, community work, holiday programs, and detached work, providing positive experiences and support for young people aged 8-18. Our dedicated team of youth workers goes out into the community to meet young people on their own turf, providing a safe space for them to discuss any issues or concerns they may have. Through our innovative approach and collaboration with multi-agency organizations, we have made a significant impact on the lives of local children, young people, and families, creating life-changing experiences and fostering a sense of community.

This helps us build trust with your child and allows our team to understand their individual needs, ensuring the best possible experience. Dear parent/guardian,&nbsp;Playaway Residential – &nbsp;Friday&nbsp;10th&nbsp;to Sunday&nbsp;12th&nbsp;April 2025&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We have organised a residential at&nbsp;Play Away, Eshton Grange near Skipton&nbsp;as part of our&nbsp;ongoing youth provision.&nbsp;Tel 01756 749334 (<a href="http://www.playaway-centre.co.uk/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);">http://www.playaway-centre.co.uk/</a> )&nbsp;&nbsp;This will take place&nbsp;from Friday, 10th to Sunday,&nbsp;12th&nbsp;April.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are meeting at our premises on City Road, North Liverpool Award Centre, at 5.30&nbsp;pm&nbsp;on Friday,&nbsp;10th,&nbsp;and will return on Sunday, 12th,&nbsp;approximately 2-3pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;The cost is now&nbsp;£45, reduced from £150&nbsp;due to additional funding&nbsp;received. This includes food,&nbsp;accommodation&nbsp;and&nbsp;activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Due to high demand and&nbsp;to&nbsp;allocate&nbsp;spaces, we ask that you let us know ASAP if your child is interested in attending so that we can ensure everyone&nbsp;has&nbsp;the opportunity to&nbsp;attend.&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>We&nbsp;require&nbsp;the attached consent form and a non-refundable deposit of £25 returned to the centre&nbsp;by&nbsp;Wednesday,&nbsp;11th&nbsp;February.&nbsp;</li><li>The final payment of £25&nbsp;must be received by&nbsp;Wednesday,&nbsp;18th&nbsp;March,&nbsp;as&nbsp;this is for us to complete the&nbsp;risk assessment and paperwork&nbsp;before our departure.&nbsp;</li><li>The payment, unfortunately,&nbsp;is non-refundable. We want all our young people to be part of this opportunity. Play Away based in the Yorkshire Dales National Park has established a safe purpose-equipped, fully inclusive recreational &amp; educational facility for young people.The Centre is open all year, and is a safe and secure environment for residentials and day visits for Youth Organisations / Educational / Schools.In thirteen acres of its own land, the centre is also perfectly situated for visits to the many attractions in the surrounding areas.All staff at the centre are fully trained in accordance with current government legislation concerning safety, protection. However, it is your responsibility to supervise your group. You must have competent staff to manage all your activities, including the pool.
