Fulham Reach Boat Club

The vision for our sport for good charity is to change lives through rowing by making it an accessible, inclusive, and transformative activity. FRBC aims to promote physical and mental health, personal development, community engagement, and social integration for everyone. We use sport as a development tool by providing access to rowing to a cross-section of our community, especially those who are most in need due to financial hardship or social circumstances and help them realise their full potential both on and off the water.

Thank you for booking Fulham Reach Boat Club's Free Water Sport Week over the Easter holidays between Monday 30th March August - Thursday 2nd April 8am-3pm. We encourage participants to attend the whole week to get maximum benefit from the course and learn all the activities on offer. Each day will be slightly varied with rowing, kayaking, different activities and learnings including; a talk from the RNLI on water safety, first aid, the power of a sport mind set by a GB track and field athlete, an Olympian visit to the 'I can' motivational talk with tools to take away. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are included. Please let us know if your child has any dietary requirements or health conditions we should be aware of on the booking form or via <a href="julia@fulhamreachboatclub.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">email</a>. Please also <a href="https://forms.gle/RiPqQ2VCs3DPURXV6" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">fill out our activity waiver before your child's arrival</a> on their first day. Places on this activity week are very popular and normally oversubscribed. If your child is unable to attend, please do let us know in advance so that your place can be offered to someone else. We understand that circumstances and situations change and if this is the case please let us know in advance. Free Water Sports Weeks at Fulham Reach Boat Club is from Monday 30th March to Thursday 2 April, from 8am to 3pm each day and is open to 24 students a day from Year 9 – Year 13 (age 13-18). Each day will include rowing, kayaking and different activities and learnings including; a talk from the RNLI on water safety, first aid training, mental health awareness with the charity Mind, the power of a sport mindset by a GB track and field athlete, an Olympian visit, to a 'I can' motivational talk with tools to take away. We encourage participants to attend the whole week to get maximum benefit from the course and learn from all the activities on offer. No previous rowing or kayaking experience is necessary and participants are encouraged to attend the whole week to gain maximum experience and impact.
