Minaret Community Centre

We provide young people with training, mentoring and leisure activities to keep them safe and successful despite the modern pressures they face.

Minaret Community Centre is running a free October Half‑Term programme from 26–29 October 2026, 11am–3pm, for young people aged 8–16.The week offers fun, learning and active play, with a hot meal provided daily. Sessions take place at the Creighton Centre, and spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Our activities are split into two amazing zones for non-stop fun! For high-energy outdoor action, dive into active Outdoor Sports and Games like thrilling rounds of Tag, strategic Hide-and-Seek, and quick-reflex challenges like Red Light, Green Light, or get creative and draw out a Hopscotch court or set up a simple frisbee target range. When it's time to head inside, challenge your friends with compelling Indoor Games such as quick-witted Charades and Pictionary, or engage your imagination with hands-on Arts and Crafts projects, including Rock Painting, making nature collages from found items, or building innovative creations from recycled materials. There's always a new adventure waiting, no matter the weather!
