Urbanwise.London is an educational charity which was established in 1983 and was previously known as Hammersmith and Fulham Urban Studies Centre.

We have a wealth of experience in engaging people in learning about their local environment and offer a range of different programmes to schools and adult groups.

We aim to:

Promote active outdoor learning in the local environment
Empower young people to take positive action on climate change
Inspire people to discover their London

We run activities during term time as well as after school clubs and holiday provision

Thames Path Wanders for young people and their families. Meeting 10.30 am outside Riverside Studios, Hammersmith W6 9BN. We will walk along the Thames Path, watching wildlife along the way and ending with a picnic at Fulham Palace Gardens and a visit to urban beach and playgrounds and activities at Bishops Park. Please bring own packed lunch and water. Please note, we will be walking for 40 minutes to Fulham Palace. There is the opportunity to get a bus back or walk. We can accommodate one adult per family. Young people over 16 can attend on their own with a parental consent form. To book a space for adults and children please use Plinth.
