Tower Hamlets CVS is dedicated to supporting the voluntary and community sector in Tower Hamlets. We provide funding opportunities, resources, and job vacancies to help local organisations thrive and make a positive impact in our community. Through our Neighbourhood Forum, Cornerstone, and Tower Hamlets Connection Network, we facilitate collaboration and networking among VCS organizations, enabling them to access support, share knowledge, and work together to address local challenges.

Our efforts have resulted in increased access to funding, resources, and job opportunities for VCS organizations in Tower Hamlets. We have also fostered a strong sense of community and collaboration, leading to impactful initiatives and projects that address the diverse needs of our local residents. Through our work, we aim to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of VCS organizations, ultimately contributing to the well-being and resilience of the community we serve.

Join us for an interactive workshop to strengthen your project planning and boost your confidence when applying for funding.Together, we’ll explore key terms that funders often use, such as needs, aims, outcomes, impact, monitoring, and evaluation, and show how they relate to the fantastic work your group is already doing. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how to present your projects in ways that highlight their value while meeting funders’ expectations.For the exercises, it is useful to have a project idea or something you’d like to seek funding for. By the end of the session, you’ll have practical answers to common funding questions.Spaces are limited to 10 groups and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so book early to secure your spot! Only one booking per group needed.

You will find out about designing, managing and evaluating corporate / community partnerships. It will be held in person at the ELBA offices, 2nd Floor, City Reach, 5 Greenwich View Place, London E14 9NN.&nbsp;The day starts at 9.00am with breakfast. A space for voluntary and community groups who provide services to children and&nbsp;young people to come together, talk and find out more about issues, opportunities and&nbsp;funding.&nbsp; On 16 December 2025 the theme is SEND, and the agenda is currently being developed around SEND Family and young persons support. This is a great opportunity for organisations and individuals working with children and&nbsp;young people in Tower Hamlets to:&nbsp;<ul><li>Share updates and challenges&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate on joint funding tacking key issues arising&nbsp;</li><li>Hear from guest speakers and commissioners&nbsp;</li><li>Discuss priorities for the sector&nbsp;</li></ul> Council representatives also attend with the aim of collaborative working and updating&nbsp;about developments. Meetings are held about every three months as necessary.&nbsp;&nbsp;Whether you're a small local group or part of a larger organisation, your voice matters—so join us!&nbsp;
