Tower Hamlets CVS is dedicated to supporting the voluntary and community sector in Tower Hamlets. We provide funding opportunities, resources, and job vacancies to help local organisations thrive and make a positive impact in our community. Through our Neighbourhood Forum, Cornerstone, and Tower Hamlets Connection Network, we facilitate collaboration and networking among VCS organizations, enabling them to access support, share knowledge, and work together to address local challenges.

Our efforts have resulted in increased access to funding, resources, and job opportunities for VCS organizations in Tower Hamlets. We have also fostered a strong sense of community and collaboration, leading to impactful initiatives and projects that address the diverse needs of our local residents. Through our work, we aim to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of VCS organizations, ultimately contributing to the well-being and resilience of the community we serve.

Join the Voluntary Sector Premises Forum. This meeting will be in two parts: <ul><li>Feedback on the council's 'Community Facilities Design and Delivery Guidance for Developers' to ensure that any new community facilities provided by developers meet local needs, are well-designed and welcoming, and are planned, delivered and managed effectively.</li><li>Next steps in the campaign to develop collective action to resolve some of the issues around council leases and premises and to think about how we can collectively and effectively campaign for better communication and dispute resolution, peppercorn rents and longer-term leases.</li></ul>

A space for voluntary and community groups who provide services to children and&nbsp;young people to come together, talk and find out more about issues, opportunities and&nbsp;funding.&nbsp; On 23 September 2025 the theme is health and wellbeing, and the agenda is:<ul><li>NEL State of the Sector report</li><li>Women's Commission</li><li>Domestic abuse and mental health project</li><li>Integrated Neighbourhood Teams</li><li>Mental health provision for children.</li><li>Youth commissioning update</li><li>Update on funding opportunities</li></ul> This is a great opportunity for organisations and individuals working with children and&nbsp;young people in Tower Hamlets to:&nbsp;<ul><li>Share updates and challenges&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate on joint funding tacking key issues arising&nbsp;</li><li>Hear from guest speakers and commissioners&nbsp;</li><li>Discuss priorities for the sector&nbsp;</li></ul> Council representatives also attend with the aim of collaborative working and updating&nbsp;about developments. Streets of Growth

Hidden Voices in Research Are the issues of keeping well physically &amp; mentally, health &amp; wellbeing or environmental, crime and safety important for the residents you are working with?&nbsp;THCVS as part of the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) is working with Queen Mary University of London, London Metropolitan and University of East London to create closer connections between the voluntary sector and the universities.
