Tower Hamlets CVS is dedicated to supporting the voluntary and community sector in Tower Hamlets. We provide funding opportunities, resources, and job vacancies to help local organisations thrive and make a positive impact in our community. Through our Neighbourhood Forum, Cornerstone, and Tower Hamlets Connection Network, we facilitate collaboration and networking among VCS organizations, enabling them to access support, share knowledge, and work together to address local challenges.

Our efforts have resulted in increased access to funding, resources, and job opportunities for VCS organizations in Tower Hamlets. We have also fostered a strong sense of community and collaboration, leading to impactful initiatives and projects that address the diverse needs of our local residents. Through our work, we aim to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of VCS organizations, ultimately contributing to the well-being and resilience of the community we serve.

Tower Hamlets CVS would like to invite you to UAL MA Service Design, User-Centred Presentations on Wednesday 28 January 2026 at St Hilda's East Community Centre from 10am-1pm.&nbsp;We would like to share with you the MA Service Design UCP project presentations. Since October, with the help of Tower Hamlets CVS, UAL students have been working to strengthen communication between formal health services, voluntary services, and communities in order to address high rates of long-term health conditions among women in Tower Hamlets. Six teams of five students have tackled this topic from different perspectives, ranging from extending healthy life expectancy to providing more support for young mothers. With the support of Tower Hamlets CVS&nbsp;and your organisations, the students have had the opportunity to co-design their work.﻿ We would now like to invite you to attend these presentations and share your feedback.

Brady Arts & Community Centre

Join this quarter’s Health and Wellbeing forum on the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams on Thursday 26th February 2026 at The Brady Centre to find out what has been happening and how you and your organisation can get involved. Since the last forum, where we discussed the NHS 10-year plan and the focus on neighbourhood working, newly formed NHS groups across the four localities in the borough have begun reviewing health data and developing plans for the pilot integrated projects. At the forum, you will have the opportunity to learn more about this work, including how residents and the VCS will be involved in decision making, what defines a neighbourhood area, what is currently happening in each area, how service mapping will support understanding of referral pathways, how the sector can collaborate to support the approach, and how potential funding sources can be explored.
