Broadstairs Town Team Ltd

Our activities include: - Broadstairs Town Shed - the opportunity for older people to take part in wood working sessions and offers a space for skills to be shared and learnt. This project has given a purpose back in life to some lonely people. - Litterpicking events - Gardening groups - RRR - a forum for our community to work together to help with the war against plastic

People ageing without children (AWOC) is a far broader group than those who have no children. This is because people can be ageing without children because they are overseas or estranged from them, their children have predeceased them, or their children may have their own needs which means they cannot help or support their parents in later life. If you’d like to learn more about AWOC, the kettle will be on from 10.00am
