To celebrate Silver Sunday, Sevenoaks District Council, in partnership with Sevenoaks District Seniors Action Forum, is hosting three months of free events from October to December. From coffee mornings to health walks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Join us for a free concert and afternoon tea as we celebrate the valuable contribution older people make to the Sevenoaks District community. Enjoy an afternoon of live music from the West Kent Concert Band, a traditional afternoon tea, and the opportunity to speak with local organisations and support services. Whether you’re looking to meet new people or simply enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon in good company, we’d love to welcome you. This is a free event, but booking is essential as places are limited. <h1>The Great British Spring Clean 2026 </h1> Join the pledge to Keep Britain Tidy! In partnership with Swanley Town Council, we are hosting a litter picking event around White Oak and the surrounding areas. Sunday 22nd March 11:00am – Volunteers will meet outside White Oak Leisure Centre and cover surrounding areas. Equipment including rubbish bags and high vis jackets where appropriate will be provided to volunteers. Refreshments will also be provided after the event at White Oak Leisure Centre.

The monthly club offers a delicious hot main meal with&nbsp;dessert&nbsp;as well as tea, coffee and a chance to socialise. <h1>Hextable Lunch Club</h1> Older residents can come along to our lunch club in Hextable for hot food and drinks and a chat with others. The monthly club offers a delicious hot main meal with&nbsp;dessert&nbsp;as well as tea, coffee and a chance to socialise. There is a £5 charge for this. The club is taking place at St Peter's Church,&nbsp;Hextable from 12noon&nbsp;to 2pm on the third Monday of every month from 15 July 2024 and will run until the end of the year.&nbsp;<h2>Book</h2> Places can either be booked at the end of every lunch club for the following lunch club, or by emailing communities@sevenoaks.gov.uk or calling 01732 227000. Bookings will close 7 days before each lunch club, so please make sure to reserve your place in advance. If you wish to attend the lunch club, please ensure your payment is dropped into Next Door Hextable cafe in an envelope with your full name clearly written on it 7 days before the lunch club. We're hosting a free Silver Music Afternoon with refreshments as part of our Silver Sevenoaks District celebrations.It will be an afternoon filled with singing, dancing and food. We have local entertainers who will be helping us getting the celebration underway, with all your favourite classics.

A relaxed introductory craft course designed to boost wellbeing, confidence and creativity. No experience needed. Delivered in partnership with Kent Adult Education's Response programme.

Kick off Christmas and get into the festive spirit at our FREE Silver Bells Christmas Party as part of our Silver Sevenoaks District events.Come by yourself, or with friends, for an afternoon of guaranteed Christmas fun.
