Space 4

Space4 is a church-led community group drop-in based in Houghton-le-Spring in Sunderland and the Durham Coalfields area. We aim to be a Space 4 everyone, helping people to grow in confidence & self-worth, build friendships and offer mutual support to one another. 
We provide a drop-in service for anyone to come in to feel welcomed, valued and accepted for who they are: this includes people who are vulnerable, elderly, disabled, socially-isolated, with mental health and addiction issues. Within the drop in, we also offer workshops and courses to support mental health, learn new skills and have fun. We run twice weekly Stay & Play for younger children and a weekly after school activity. We also offer a community foodbank and pre-loved uniform store.
