Leo's supports the well-being of families who require neonatal care in the North East of England. Our focus is on improving mental health of the entire family from birth, until they no longer need Leo's. We do this by offering community support work to reduce social isolation, we have dedicated peer support, a counselling service, vCreate and heartbeat bears. Also founder of Neonatal MH Week.

Inspired by the much-loved story, this session supports early learning through sensory exploration, movement, and playful investigation. Children are invited to explore a range of textures, colours, and counting opportunities, supporting communication and language, physical development, and early mathematical understanding. Through open-ended, hands-on experiences, children can explore at their own pace, developing curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence. The thoughtfully prepared environment supports the prime areas of the EYFS, while also introducing early concepts such as sequencing, change, and growth. Families are encouraged to engage together, creating meaningful shared moments and supporting learning through play inspired by storytelling.
