Fèis Calasraid

We are exploring the possibility of establishing a Fèis (Scottish Gaelic cultural organisation) in Callander to teach Gaelic language, music, culture, heritage and arts. This short survey will help us demonstrate community interest to Fèisean nan Gàidhlig, Stirling Council and other organisations.

The former St Kessog's church would serve as the permanent home for Fèis activities and other community cultural events. While we can run some activities without it, having a dedicated space would significantly enhance what we can offer the community.

We are interested in purchasing the former St Kessog’s church in Callander to run our activities from, as a multi-functional arts, culture and heritage centre which also hosts events. We are a charity based in Callander, working for the people of Callander. Do you support us trying to purchase it? (Don’t worry, we have a business plan).
