You can do this on the central booking system&nbsp;or by calling&nbsp;us directly. This will give another child the chance to access a funded place. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong style="background-color: transparent;">Special Educational Needs and Disabilities</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Parents of children with additional needs, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and/or Education Health Care (EHC) plans, must contact the provider directly as soon as possible, to supply them with the relevant information before attending the provision. This is so that the provider can assess how best to support your child. The provider is committed to meeting the needs of all children and young people including those with additional needs and SEND. The provider will use its best endeavours to make sure that a child with additional needs gets the support they need – this means doing everything it can&nbsp;reasonably do to meet the child’s needs.</p>

<h1><strong>Free holiday activities with lunch</strong></h1><p>Our free spring, summer and winter holiday programme gives young people the chance to enjoy a wide range of free activities with a healthy lunch.</p><iframe class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/J8rZtJmpXlk?si=63_Ha2VPmUox-44I" height="false" width="false"></iframe><p><br></p><p>Bookings for the summer holiday programme will open from Monday June 29th 2026 at 6pm.</p><p>The summer HAF programme will run in the school summer holidays from Monday 20th July to Friday 28th August 2026.</p><h2><strong>Eligibility</strong></h2><p>This programme is free to Islington residents who are:</p><ul><li>school-aged children from Reception to Year 11, or up to 18 years old for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)</li></ul><p>and you must meet one of the following criteria:</p><ul><li>qualify for benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM)</li><li>can be referred by a social worker, family support worker or other professional</li></ul><p>If you are not eligible, some activities are free for everyone and some require a small payment. Other activities may only need a small payment. We will then start checking your child's eligibility. This is done every weekday between 9am and 5pm.</p><p>We will let you know by email if your child gets a free place. Welcome to Hanley Crouch Community Association – Children’s Services at Brickworks.
At Brickworks, we are proud to deliver high-quality childcare by integrating the Play Principles with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This combined approach enables us to provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive through play, developing vital social skills, building confidence, exploring risk and challenge, connecting with their environment, and most importantly, having fun.

We offer a wide range of activities including arts and craft, sports, days trips, Cooking, roller disco, bouncy castle and many more exciting experiences. 

Extended Hours
HAF-funded places are available Monday to Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
For full-day attendance (until 5:30 PM), an additional fee of £8 will apply.

Lunch
A weekly lunch menu will be displayed at reception every Monday morning upon arrival.
Vegan and halal options are available. Please Bring own water bottle. water fountain is provided for children to refill bottles.

Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
For children with SEND or for those aged 5 to 6 (Reception age) who are new to Brickworks, we require:
•	Three short taster sessions for SEND children
•	One taster session for children aged 5 –6 years
These sessions take place on Fridays during term time (excluding HPS) between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
This is an opportunity for the child to become familiar with our staff and environment, and for you to ask any questions you may have.

If medication is required, you must bring this with you on the days your child attends, all medication must be labelled with child's name, dosages and date. 

Please note:
•	A completed Brickworks Registration Form is required before attendance.
•	An additional form is required for SEND children.
•	Unfortunately, we are unable to provide 1;1 support at this time. If you would like to discuss this for future sessions please call 02072631067 Monday-Friday between 2pm- 6pm term time only and ask for Danielle
•	Unfortunately, we are unable to accept children who have not completed registration, have not attended the required taster session, or arrive without a prior booking.

Pro Touch SA CIC

Pro Touch SA is a registered Community Interest Company born out of a desire to use the power of sport to encourage young Londoners to unleash their potential.

Established in 2006, Pro Touch SA delivers structured community sports and elite football programmes in over 10 London boroughs to young people aged 4-25 as well as engaging with their families who require support and guidance.

We started as a soccer academy offering opportunities to gifted and talented footballers. However, we have evolved to providing healthy active lifestyle opportunities to young people, with everything from fitness to fencing and more.

With rising cuts and closure to services, we see it as a responsibility to provide much-needed services around the community, especially youth and sports to engage with hard-to-reach children and young people in inner-city London.
Alongside our community projects, we also run an Elite football academy, run by qualified coaches who have helped develop, mentor, and guide over 40 plus young "gifted and talented" athletes aged between 9-25 years old signing schoolboy, scholarship or professional contracts within professional football clubs in England.
 
As a not-for-profit organisation, we re-invest all profit back into the programmes we operate across London.

Elizabeth House Playscheme provides a fun and varied programme, including sports, cookery, team games, music, arts and crafts and computer sessions.

The Playscheme is run by enthusiastic, experienced staff who aim to provide fun and challenging activities in a safe and secure environment. They also encourage all children to participate in all activities to ensure they make the most of their time at the centre.

Our holiday club runs from Tuesday 21st July - Friday 14th August 2026.

Thanks to Lunch Bunch/HAF, all children will receive a FREE LUNCH daily along with healthy snacks. You're welcome to send your child in with their own water bottle if you wish.

Islington Boat Club

Islington Boat Club offers a range of activities and courses for adults and young people. We are situated in the City Road Basin, entered via Graham Street, London N1 8JX.

An RYA approved training centre and staffed with Canoe England registered instructors, we offer many accredited courses for all ages over nine years.

We currently have an open access Youth Club on Saturdays (11am to 4pm).
