Royal Greenwich Together: Holiday Food and Fun
Royal Greenwich Together - Holiday Food and Fun is here for Summer 2026! If your child is aged 4 to 16 and receiving benefits-related free school meals, they can take part.* Holiday Food and Fun includes specialist spaces available for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). *Please note that this programme also has some spaces for children that do not receive benefits-related free school meals but have been referred by a professional.
Is my child eligible?
Your child must be:
- Of compulsory school age (4 to 16 years)
- Attending a Greenwich School or living in the borough
- In receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals. What is this? How do I check?
Please note that this programme also has some spaces for children that do not receive benefits-related free school meals but have been referred by a professional.
How do I book?
To get started, create an account, register your child/children and browse our activities. You will be able to view descriptions of each organisation and event, including age suitability, accessibility arrangements and availability. If your child is in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals you will have been sent an eligibility code to book your place.
What is the eligibility code?
To book a place you will need an eligibility code to show that your child is in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals:
- If your child is in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals you will have been sent an eligibility code.
- If your child is eligible but you have not received your code please follow these steps: 1) Check that your child is eligible by visiting this website Home | LGfL FSM, 2) Take a screen shot of the message you receive confirming eligibility and 3) Send this to holiday-programme@royalgreenwich.gov.uk with the subject ‘Eligibility Code Request’. We will provide you with a code.
- If you haven’t received a code but your child has been referred by a professional, contact holiday-programme@royalgreenwich.gov.uk with the subject ‘Eligibility Code Request’. Please state which organisation and professional has referred you.
Can I cancel?
You will receive an email reminding you of the activities you have booked for your child. If you need to cancel please do so via Plinth and contact the organisation that is providing the activity to inform them. We ask that you give 3 days notice so that the place can be offered to another child.
Children and Young People with Additional Needs
We welcome children and young people with additional needs, e.g. special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will be prompted to let us know if your child has SEND and will be asked to identify whether their needs are moderate or require specialist support, and what the needs are. We have specialist support places available and these will be indicated on the booking platform.
What about food, medication and allergies?
A healthy meal will be provided for your child. If your child needs to take medication, has allergies or food requirements (e.g. halal food) please ensure you share this information.
