Do you home educate your children? Come along to Clyde Cycle Park for an open cycling session.
We have a safe tarmac loop, away from roads, traffic and other obstacles. which is ideal for learning to cycle & building confidence on a bike. This is also a great opportunity to socialise with other Home Ed children and families.
You are welcome to bring your own bike or you can use our bikes/helmets. We have a range of 2 and 3 wheelers of different sizes, for children and adults.
This is a open cycling session, but there will be coaches on hand to help. Parents/Carers must stay with the children & are also encouraged to use a bike - just ask a CCP representative.
Please make a donation on the day for the session, the suggested donation is £2 or £3. If you cannot afford this, please still come. Donations can be made by cash on the day or via Justgiving.
There is a car park on Dale Avenue. If it's your first time along, you can find details for how to get to the park here: How to Find Us | Clyde Cycle Park
Please note that there is currently construction going on for Phase 2 of the park. Our track is still in use & the car park is operational, however you will see building work in progress & parking spaces are more limited.
There is a portaloo toilet at the park & facilities to make tea/coffee (for a small donation).
CCP may contact you for feedback after the session to help us plan future activities. Please let the coach know if you do not wish to be in any photographs on the day. We use photographs on our social media pages and for reporting back to funders.
If you have any questions please contact us at enquiries@clydecyclepark.org.uk.
