Description

Join Linda from Camden Adult Community Learning in a 11-week project Making for Change.

Explore the power that arts has in inspiring personal and social change!

  • Explore seasonal change - use hand-dyed re-used fabrics and materials
  • Protest for change - make your textile and printed banners, posters and slogans, inspired by suffragette and trade union banners, flags and resistance art.
  • Celebrate change - make badges and medals using stiching darning and appliqué.

You will produce artwork and products for an end of year exhibition at a local gallery.

The project runs on Thursdays 10:00-12:00 at 1A Arts Centre, starting on the 16th January and running until 27th March (no session 20th Feb as half term)

This course is free with materials provided. Beginners welcome!

Booking guarentees you a place on the full term project.
