The Story Garden Project with Linda, Camden Adult Community Learning Create colourful artworks, handmade garden pieces, and playful garden creatures that come together as a shared Story Garden sculpture. This friendly 11-week art and craft course for older adults supports wellbeing, creativity, and social connection in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Each week, you will take part in simple, hands-on activities inspired by gardens and storytelling, using materials such as paper, fabric, clay, and natural objects. Our volunteer Repairers will be on hand with advice, materials and equipment to help you to give your broken items some TLC.&nbsp; We won't be able to fix everything at the Community Repair Hub as some repairs may require extra equipment, materials or time. This is your chance to try a fun, gentle, and effective workout in a friendly and supportive environment. The class focuses on improving your strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination—all at your own pace. The sessions will feature a series of simple, low-impact exercises that can be easily modified to suit your individual needs and abilities. Whether you're new to exercise or looking for a way to stay active, this min-course is the perfect opportunity. In an exciting new partnership between The Place, Age UK Camden, and Holborn Community Association, join us for Together We Move - a space where creativity meets wellbeing. Whether you’re looking to boost your fitness or simply want to try something new, Together We Move is designed specifically for adults aged 60+. Led by experienced professional Dance Artists, these sessions are all about celebrating what your body can do in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. Together We Move is about more than just dance—it’s about holistic health and community. Through these sessions, you will: <ul><li>Improve your strength, balance, and coordination</li><li>Support your mental health and overall wellbeing</li><li>Find an outlet for your unique creativity</li><li>Build Friendships</li></ul> All sessions are free and no dance experience is necessary. Together We Move is open to all Camden residents aged 60 and over, regardless of your background or ability, but please book your spot as places are limited. Each session is followed by a dedicated hour for relaxation, refreshments, and socialising.
