Greetings! Thank you for booking onto the SANKOFA ARTS LAB: Summer School - a full week of expressive arts aimed to foster creativity and social confidence, whilst exposing them to new experiences. To all of us, the Akan word 'Sankofa' means: 'to learn from the past, to enhance and inform the future' and we do this by creating a safe and welcoming space with enriching activities and trips. This is our fourth year of delivery holiday school and each year is bigger and better - more drama, more clay, more painting, more storytelling, more outdoor learning! If your child is awaiting an assessment for any SEND diagnosis, please do let us know anyway, so we may support your child to have an incredibly positive week. Sankofa Arts Lab: Summer School is a Caribbean themed, week long expressive arts experience for children in school years; 4, 5 &amp; 6 (or ages 8, 9, 10 &amp; 11). We will be using drama, storytelling and crafting to create an immersive exhibition at the end of the week for family and friends to visit. Throughout the week, there will be exciting trips and of course, a professional artist to be inspired by! We particularly welcome those with; SpLD, ADD, ADHD Inattentive &amp; Autism who can manage a full day of arts, crafts and lots of fun within a calm setting.

Sankofa Arts Lab: Summer School is a one week Caribbean themed expressive arts experience for children in school years 4 - 6 / or ages 8, 9, 10 &amp; 11. This week long summer school will have a professional guest artist (as always) and using drama alongside crafts, we'll create an immersive exhibition for friends, parents and carers to visit at the end of the week! This summer school is particularly suited to those with SpLD, MLD, ADHD Inattentive, ADD &amp; Autism.
