When the lights go out: Emergency planning workshop for voluntary and community sector organisations

As a key part of making Hackney a thriving community, this workshop is designed for voluntary and community sector organisations to prepare for emergencies and unexpected disruptions. 

During the workshop, you'll connect with like-minded organisations, gain practical tools, and make a start on your business continuity plan so that you can continue to deliver your vital community services in the event of an emergency.

This workshop will be delivered in partnership with Hackney Council’s Emergency Planning Team, who prepare for, respond to and support recovery from major incidents, ranging from pandemics and disease outbreaks to extreme weather, flooding and fires.

When: Tuesday 19 May, 10am-12.30pm. 

Where: Hackney CVS, The Adiaha Antigha Centre, 24-30 Dalston Lane, London, E8 3AZ
