Our meeting point is currently in the East end yard of Rectory Farm, EN2 8AA. Directions: From A1005 'The Ridgeway', turn East down the little straight road, roughly opposite Oak Avenue (North of Chase Farm Hospital), and continue all the way down to the end. Follow the road as it turns a sharp right, then it's a short distance to the entrance slope where you'll find us, on the right. For those who use the what3words app, a more precise location is reader.chill.region. If you are arriving by car, please do not park anywhere else other than the designated farm yard. We aim to start the briefing at 10am. To help us complete this task, volunteers will be walking quite some distance in wellington boots. Often across uneven ground. Yep, it will be muddy and you'll get a good workout! Bring with you: Your lunch and plenty of water. Suitable sturdy footwear, which is always recommended for attending any of our events. Please also dress suitably for the weather! We can provide hot drinks, biscuits, gloves, tools, wellington boots, and even lend you some thick socks if you need them!
