Join us for the first Safeguarding Forum for Designated Safeguarding Leads!
Co-hosted with LBHF and LSCP, this initial session will provide a space to c o-produce a terms of reference and agree an overall approach of future sessions. This initial meeting will take place online, will be led by Young H & F and representatives from the LBHF Safeguarding team will also be in attendance.
The forums will take place four times a year. Topics in scope for these forums will include:
Share information about safeguarding children
Support Young H&F Members to develop a strong safeguarding culture within their organisation
Provide opportunities for DSL's to share feedback with the LSCP about local safeguarding arrangements
Encourage peer support and sharing or safeguarding information amongst DSLs
Early identification of risks
Safe spaces and early identification
How to raise and escalate concerns
