Description

Do you want to make content creation easier and share your work in a way that feels authentic?

We’ll cover beginner‑friendly skills for Instagram, LinkedIn and X, including:

  • building a confident, consistent online presence,
  • techniques and tools, including AI and Canva, to help you do more because we understand that you struggle with time and money,
  • boosting engagement and connecting more naturally with your audience.

This session is designed for local community groups or organisations who have set up their social media accounts but struggle with what to post, how often they should be showing up online, and how to make the most of their digital footprint.

It’s led by writer and creative entrepreneur Miranda Siow. She volunteers with several organisations. Through this experience, she has seen the valuable work done by the third sector and their importance to our communities. Instagram is her favourite platform. It’s where posting feels more like catching up with friends than broadcasting to strangers. She has also grown her presence on TikTok and YouTube, with videos reaching thousands of viewers, and her content has even caught the attention of the BBC.

She also runs creative writing classes and facilitates Happiness Habits workshops with Action for Happiness. Her work is grounded in empathy, positivity, and a belief that technological skills should be accessible to everyone.
