Description

Are you a Camden resident? Are you over 60? Get Back in the Game with our Walking Football Course as part of Camden's Active For Life campaign.


Whether you've never tried it before or you're looking to sharpen your existing skills, our 4-Session Walking Football Course is the perfect way to stay active, meet new friends, and enjoy the beautiful game at a relaxed and friendly pace. Walking football is a fantastic, low-impact sport designed to improve cardiovascular health, strength, and balance without the physical strain of the traditional game.


Course Details

Duration: 4 weekly sessions

Session Length: 1.5 hours total (1 hour of play + 30 minutes of social time)

Experience Level: Open to everyone, from absolute beginners to those looking to refine their skills. Please consider if you are fit enough to participate for an hour


What to Expect

Warm-up & Drills (1 hour): Friendly, guided practice focusing on basic skills, passing, positioning at a walking pace.

Social Time (30 minutes): Relax and chat after the session with complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits. 


Practical Information

What to Wear: Comfortable, breathable  clothing and flat-soled trainers (no football boots or studded shoes as we’re playing on a sprung wooden floor)

Accessibility: All abilities are welcome. Our coach will ensure the pace is supportive, safe, and tailored to the group.
