Thames21 is collaborating with the National Trust to organise a day of craft activities for children which will involve sitting by the River Wandle and drawing it with paints, crayons and coloured pencils, as part of London Rivers Week 2024.
This nature-inspired activity aims to get children to create a bespoke piece of art using wildlife identification kits and get enthused about the beautiful environment that surrounds them. Kids will also be encouraged to think about the importance of not littering around our rivers and general environment (e.g. by drawing people litter picking etc.). All kids will receive a certificate.
