The Youth Development Project is a tailor-made program for individuals aged 13–25 with learning disabilities or autism who live or attend school/college in the Hammersmith and Fulham area. Our program offers young people the opportunity to have fun and socialise through a variety of activities including bowling, arts and crafts, cooking sessions, museum trips ,fitness activities, and much more.&nbsp;Join us and enjoy a fun -filled sessions.

HF Mencap is dedicated to empowering children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, ensuring their voices are heard, and helping them reach their full potential while being included in their local community. Our organization seeks to promote the wellbeing and development of individuals with learning disabilities and autism, as well as support their families and carers. We provide a range of services, including parent/carer advocacy, youth development projects, day opportunities, short breaks, and various projects and campaigns. Through our efforts, we aim to support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in living as independently as possible, advocating for their rights, and providing opportunities for continued learning and development.

At HF Mencap, we are committed to providing support that ensures children and adults with learning disabilities and autism are accepted and included in the community, have their voices and needs heard by decision makers, and are supported to live as independently as possible. Our organization also focuses on empowering individuals to campaign for their rights, pursue their dreams, and live fulfilling lives. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support, enabling them to make friends, form relationships, pursue employment, and live in their own homes. Booking Your Child’s PlaceTo get started, create an account, register your child, and browse our wide range of engaging activities tailored to their interests and needs. Plinth provides detailed descriptions of each provider and event, including age suitability, accessibility arrangements and availability, helping you make informed choices.&nbsp; CancellationsYou will receive an email reminding you of the activities you have booked for your child a week before delivery. If you need to cancel, please do so via Plinth and contact the provider. We ask that you give at least 24 hours notice so the place can be given to another young person. SEND and AccessibilityOur Holiday, Activity and Food Programme providers strive to accommodate all children and young people. We encourage parents and guardians to contact individual providers to discuss any specific requirements your child may have. This communication is crucial to help us understand how we can best support your child and ensure their safety and enjoyment. Specialist SEND ProvisionWe collaborate with specialist providers who are experienced in working with children with complex and profound needs. These providers offer specialist programmes and activities designed to cater to the specific requirements of children with disabilities or other additional needs.
