Young People who Lead (for Secondary Schools)

Young People who Lead is an 8 session programme, designed for a specifically chosen cohort of students (up to 15 students) who might be struggling to engage with their academic studies and/or are engaging with the emotional wellbeing department at school regularly.

The programme includes 8 creative workshops that culminate in the students creating their own campaign/ speech about the change that they want to see in the world.

The programme aims to equip students with improved knowledge of Wollstonecraft, Human Rights and democracy, increased understanding of leadership and all different styles of relationship, new skills developed in creativity, confidence, public speaking, team work, decision making and negotiation skills to name a few, and finally raised aspirations about what students can achieve for themselves and as a group.
