The Wollstonecraft Society is a dedicated charity aiming to inspire children and young people about their human rights through the life and legacy of Mary Wollstonecraft.

We offer creative workshops, projects and events in schools and to children and young people in the community.

Thank you very much to booking onto A Very Merry Wollstonecraft Winter. We are really looking forward to seeing you at the session. We will be using arts and crafts materials so please ensure that your child/ward wears comfortable clothing and brings bottle for water/juice throughout the session. For this session children under 8 years old MUST be accompanied by parents/guardians.Children aged 8 years plus, will need a permission form for the Hut completing before they can be left unaccompanied at the HUT during the Hut's opening hours.

<h1>Winter Crafts Galour</h1>&nbsp;We can't wait for you to join for tons of winter fun. Our session will be a jam-packed full of arts and crafts, creative writing and party games to celebrate a wonderful Wollstonecraft Winter. We will learn a little bit more about a Georgian Winter, as well as exploring the winter of our dreams and what we wish for in 2026. This is a drop in session, but it would be great if you could book to help identify resources needed. This session is for children aged 5 - 16 years old at the Hut in Withernsea. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. For children aged 8 years plus, a form must be completed at The Hut with all the relevant personal details.

We will be using arts and crafts materials so please ensure that your child/ward wears comfortable clothing and brings bottle for water/juice throughout the session. For this session children will be dropped off at the session and then need to be collected at the end of the session. Participants will receive a hot meal, juice and refreshments as part of the session.

Participants booked on the session will receive food, drink and refreshments.

Crafts and Creative Arts - A Very Merry Wollstonecraft Winter - Beverley

Mary Wollstonecraft lived in all different places throughout her life including Beverley. She even went on an adventure to find some stolen treasure.&nbsp; Come and join our hands-on arts and crafts activities that explore Mary Wollstonecraft's life and the 1700s through creative map-making and boat-building with recycled materials, and other exciting activities. Plus food for each participant. This activity is only for children who receive free school meals and attend school in the East Riding.
