Then come along to a Research Engagement Network (REN) Workshop

The workshop is ideal for people who attended the first REN workshop and would like to explore community research engagement further. You must be 18 years old or over to attend. 

This workshop builds on the discussions from workshop one in November 2025 which explored health and care research and how it relates to community health and wellbeing. At this workshop, we will discuss tools designed to support community research engagement together with exploring the role that community organisations and CVS teams could have in raising awareness of health and care research. We’ll use scenarios and mapping to understand how research and communities currently connect and explore the opportunities and existing barriers to research engagement in the community.
