Myth to Me is a small-group creative storytelling project for girls aged 10–12, (Year 6 and 7) using drama, myth and imagination to build confidence, emotional awareness and connection with others. Through theatre games, movement, mask work and creative activities, participants will explore different characters and stories, learning to recognise emotions, express themselves and work collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Over five sessions, the group will move from exploring shared myths and stories to creating their own, inspired by their experiences, interests and the important women in their lives. The project encourages girls to trust themselves, their ideas and their voices, while developing creativity, communication and a stronger sense of identity. All sessions are facilitated by a lead drama practitioner with an assistant and include light nutritious snacks.

By the end of the project, participants will:
