Leading Action for Healthy Rivers Training Course

Become a River Guardian!

This course will give you the skills and confidence necessary to plan and run safe and effective river action events in your community. It will enable you to set up your own River Action Group and contribute to the growing network of groups taking action for rivers across the Thames Basin.

Times:

10:00 - 10:15 - Welcome and introductions

10:15 - 12:30 - Indoor classroom learning

12:30 - 13:15 - Lunch

13:15 - 14:40 - Indoor classroom learning continued

14:40 - 16:00 - Outdoor activity

16:00 - 16:30 - Course debrief and next steps

You will receive further information about the day and what to bring in an email closer to the date.

This course is free and open to anyone aged 18 and over. If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian in order to attend.
