CREW Teacher Eco Conference

We already have a number of Worthing and West Sussex schools signed up to attend and it’s set to be a fantastic day of CPD. The event is for primary and secondary teachers with workshops running concurrently to tailor information to both settings. The first workshop is by the Ministry of Eco Education who support schools in embedding sustainability into the curriculum in exciting and creative ways while ensuring national curriculum requirements are met. The second is by Let’s Go Zero (with support from Climate Ambassadors and National Education Nature Parks - DfE funded) who support schools with their Climate Action Plans and decarbonisation. The latter can save schools thousands of pounds in heating and electricity costs. Both organisations have worked with thousands of schools nationally. There will also be a marketplace of stalls by local environmental organisations who offer free workshops to schools and the chance to share best practices and connect.
