🌳 Join the Enfield Chase Landscape Recovery Walk!

Hosted by Enfield Council & the Friends of Enfield Chase

Come and explore the beauty of Enfield Chase as part of the ongoing Landscape Recovery Project. Discover the magnificent trees, flora, and fauna that thrive in this evolving woodland environment.

🚶‍♂️ Guided Walk Details

Led by James Waterton, Woodland Arboriculturalist, this family-friendly 4km walk will take you through a designed landscape with some uphill sections.

🗺️ Route Overview

We’ll walk as a group from Botany Bay along the Eastern Gateway and London Loop pathways to Brooke Wood. From there, we’ll continue through Rectory Farm to Turkey Brook Woodland, Then return via the Eastern Gateway to Botany Bay Farm.

Along the way, James will share insights into woodland creation and highlight notable wildlife.

🧺 What to Bring

• Water and any provisions for a 4km walk
• Suitable clothing for the weather
• Good walking shoes
• Botany bay farm shop is a great option for lunch
• Toilets are available at the start and end of the walk.

• A health and safety briefing will be provided at the start
• Parking is available at Botany Bay Farm
• First aid kit will be available

🚗 Getting There

• By Car: From Chase Farm Hospital, head north on the A1005. Enter through the metal double gates and follow signs to Botany Bay Farm.
• By Bus: Take the 313 or W8 to ‘Botany Bay / The Robin Hood’. Your stop is just after Roundhedge Way.
• By Train: Nearest stations are Gordon Hill (1.7 miles) and Enfield Chase (2.3 miles).
• By Bicycle: Great choice—eco-friendly and scenic!
