<h2>Hackney Giving Cost of Living programme</h2> The cost of living is continuing to cause a problem for many people. We are inviting applications from not-for-profit groups working to support people in Hackney and/or the City of London with the cost of living in winter 2025. Grants of £5,000 will be awarded for work towards the following outcome:<ul><li>Reducing the impact of the rising cost of living on people living in Hackney or the City of London.</li></ul> For full details of the programme, including the application form, please go to www.hackneygiving.org.uk/apply . Hackney CVS is a local infrastructure organisation (LIO), and we support voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations located in, or serving communities living, working, or studying within the London Borough of Hackney and the City of London (City & Hackney).

We have three core functions:

Giving a voice to the City and Hackney VCS and seldom-heard communities, empowering them to inform, shape, and influence decisions affecting residents.
Providing a bridge to connect VCS organisations and residents with each other, and with statutory partners.
Ensuring the VCS thrives, by building the capacity of the VCS through training, 1:1 support, and by leveraging resources, financial and otherwise, for the sector.
