Description

The Thames riverside on the Isle of Dogs holds a rich heritage like no other in London. Join us for an expert guided archaeological and historical walk with Thames Discovery Programme along the riverside path. We will explore the Isle of Dog's rich history and many historical sites, from the Royal Dockyards, Brunel's Great Eastern and much more.

So come and explore the riverside's maritime and industrial history and learn about the unique history of your local area. Along the way, we will also hear the recollections of islanders who lived and worked.

We will be meeting here at 9.45am at Island Gardens DLR (Google maps, What3Words) - at the entrance of the station. The walk will head west up the river pathway and finish at around 11:30am.
