SafeTALK is a half-day, in-person workshop that focuses on suicide alertness. It is designed for anyone aged 15 and up and doesn't require any prior training. Its main goal is to train people to be connectors. A connector is someone who can recognise signs of suicide and then safely and promptly connect the person to professional help.

Hi, This is a reminder that you have booked onto the following training with Wirral CVS Safe Talk14th May 202610am - 2.30pmMake Hamilton, Birkenhead Safe Talk is a practical accredited training course that helps you recognise when someone may be thinking about suicide and gives you the skills and confidence to start a supportive conversation and connect them to help. We will be provided lunch for you on the day, so please let us know by 7th May if you have an allergies or dietary requirements. Although this course is free of charge to you, there is a cost for Wirral CVS and if you cancel with less than 7 days notice we are unable to get a refund or fill the place with anyone from the waiting list. If you know you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the place to someone on our waiting list.
