Supporting Young People to Access Pathways Into Employment: Youth Worker Forum

Facilitated by Youth Careers Collective, this forum will create space for frontline youth practitioners to share knowledge, approaches and practical strategies that support young people to access pathways into employment.

Focus groups that Young H&F has held across the borough have uncovered a deep anxiety around employment and career opportunities amongst young people. This concern reflects wider national trends, with UK unemployment reaching 5.2% at the end of last year. We are bringing together youth practitioners across the borough to discuss best practice round supporting young people into employment and to identify key training and employment opportunities.

If you work for an organisation that supports young people with training or employment opportunities, enterprise or education and academic support - this is a fantastic chance to speak about what you are doing and share insight with others in the youth sector.

This is a free event - we ask for a small deposit that will be returned after the event to reduce no shows! If you give our team 48 hours notice, you will not be charged the deposit.
