Thames21 is collaborating with the National Trust and its Urban Rangers to organise a day of craft activities for children which will involve sitting by the River Wandle and drawing it with paints, crayons and coloured pencils, as part of London Rivers Week 2025.
This nature-inspired activity aims to get children to create a bespoke piece of art using wildlife identification kits and get enthused and inspired by the River Wandle and its surrounding ecosystem. All kids will receive a certificate.
We are hoping to use the art pieces to make a banner we can display in the park after the event.
All U18s must be accompanied by an adult.
All are welcome.
