Description

Hidden Voices in Research

Are the issues of keeping well physically & mentally, health & wellbeing or environmental, crime and safety important for the residents you are working with?

THCVS as part of the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) is working with Queen Mary University of London, London Metropolitan and University of East London to create closer connections between the voluntary sector and the universities.

Join us for Hidden Voices in Research, a networking event on 24 September at the Graduate Centre in Mile End. to bring the voluntary sector and academics together to explore opportunities for:

  • Funding opportunities through grants programmes run by the universities.
  • Opportunities to get involved in research applications by supporting pre application public involvement or as co investigator.
  • Capacity building support for your organisation through MA and PHD students.
  • Opportunities for local communities, such as training and employment.

There will be a chance to find out about the work of the HDRC, East London research guidelines as well as opportunities to be involved in research with the NHS.
