Join us for our September community litter pick, either on land or on the tidal River Lea!

Play a part in keeping the diverse habitats of the River and the surrounding towpath free of rubbish, for us and our non-human neighbours. We will finish the day off with a celebratory meal cooked by our wonderful Cody Dock gardening volunteers.

**Please choose the most appropriate litter picking ticket for you, either on a canoe or walking along the towpath.

Schedule:

10.00-10.30:Induction for new volunteers only (Please attend if you are new to Cody Dock)

11.00-12.00: Welcome, Health and Safety, gather tools

12.00-15.00: Litter picking!

15.00-16.00: Clean up and community meal

What you'll need:

• Sturdy footwear (boots/solid trainers) 
• Weather appropriate clothing 
• Refillable water bottle 
• Snacks encouraged

No experience necessary, all welcome:)
