Description

Animal-mad and want to learn more about amazing endangered species? Want to help make the planet a better place, all while getting nose-to-nose with spectacular species from around the world?

Join us this Summer for an exciting four-day course at London Zoo!

Across the week, students will find out all about the different types of jobs that exist within London Zoo and the conservation charity that runs it, ZSL. From zoo-keeper to zoologist, participants will learn about endangered animals and the people who work to protect them, whilst working in groups to design thier own environmental campaign.

Each day will include hands-on activities and classroom learning, giving participants a taste of zoo life as they learn how London Zoo cares for their 20,000 animals, why these species need our protection, and how everyone can help make a difference. From muck outs to feeding time, participants will get a flavour of the variety of different tasks and jobs that exist at ZSL and how Zoos can help save species, with the week culminating in groups pitching thier environmental campaign to each other.
